This site is open to the public. It provides tips and tutorials for BCC students using the Peralta District Spring 2013 Online Course Website at http://online.peralta.edu/spring2013. The BCC Resources website is not connected to the Spring 2013 Online Course Website.
If you would like to post a question in any of the forums below, you will need to login to this site. Only students enrolled in BCC courses have login accounts on this website.
The following Viewers and Players allow users to open and read certain file formats. These Viewers are not the complete program, so you will not be able to create or modify files, only read them. If you want a free full office suite, try OpenOffice installed on your computer or use Google Docs online (but you have a limit on how much you can store). You may need to experiment with the types of Players to determine which ones work best with your operating system.
If you have trouble opening a PDF file in Firefox, you can disable Firefox's built-in PDF View and select Adobe Acrobat Reader - see instructions.
Google Docs - create and store documents online with your Gmail account, but be cautious who you share them with.
